League Week 1
(Everton): Unfortunately both sides started with losses. The first team suffered a heavy 4-0 loss to a very good Feyenoord team who have really improved sinse they've had a full time manager to work with them. Although we played some fantastic football especially young midfielders Valdarama and Messie and we were strong at the back unfortunately Victor despite his rating let us down baddly this eevening and the post helped them out. Despite the loss however there are a lot of positives to take from the game we attempted to play football however we were up against a very strong defence, Meier shown why he was so good for me at chelsea and got the move to celtic he was a constant threat up front however the Feyenoord defence were very tight and ensured our shots on goal were limited despite the good football we played. The reserves lost 2-1 to Roma however again we played some fantastic football so i'm optimistic results will improve for both sides as the season goes on.
Driscoll (Borussia Dortmund): Solid point to start the season
Spall (Chelsea): Happy with a point away from home and also very pleased with the emphatic reserve team win!
Wallace (Schalke 04): Decent start to the season, against the run of play we get a point.
Elite FA Cup Qualifiers 2nd Leg
Marsh (Atletico Madrid): Great win at Spurs. Looking forwards to the draw now!
Spall (Chelsea): Unlucky to go out through a 120th minute goal but progression in this cup wasn't expected with the huge changes that have happened to the team recently
League Week 2
(Everton): Great wins for both first team and reserves this week. Really proud of how both teams performed and am excited to see what the future might hold. Young players making there first appearances in midfield really excited me in the reserve team. think we have a bright future here at everton and looking forward to the future and hopefully building on this positivve weekend.
Wallace (Schalke 04): RM showed us just how hard this season is going to be with a lesson in football.
Spall (Chelsea): A repeat defeat on the road to Valencia... this time a little easier for the home side as more red card frustration occurs for the blues.
Driscoll (Borussia Dortmund): Home is where our heart is, pleased to get past a tricky opponent.
